Helena has (finally!) started walking. Although she still prefers the speed of crawling, she is really taking pride in her first solo steps. Enjoy!

Forget all the expensive toys! Helena's favorite toys these days are bowls, pots, and pans. She likes to mimic cooking in the kitchen while I'm getting dinner ready. She also enjoys walking around with her favorite blue bowl on her head as displayed below the video.

Helena had a playdate with her new friend, Casey, at Kidspace Museum in Pasadena. This place is fantastic! It has indoor and outdoor playgrounds, fountains for the kids to jump in, a splashpark, and a little river the kids can wade through and explore. Helena's most favorite activity was the water table. Although she looks quite serious, let me assure you she had a wonderful time. She was so intent on seeing how all the tubes and pools connected. Every time she would get water to go somewhere she would let out a delighted, "WHOA!" which is her new favorite word to express extreme excitement.

Pass the hand sanitizer, please! Helena made her first trip to a little farm with a petting zoo this weekend. She especially loved the goats and rabbits.
