Our friends, Freddy and Kelly, welcomed the adorable Finnegan Freddy Ortiz into their family recently. Helena and Finn are destined to become great friends. Neither of the babies seemed all that interested in one another on Saturday....but we know that will change soon! Here are some pics from our visit with Finn.

This week Aunt Kristi and I took Helena to her daddy's restaurant, Sunsets in Malibu. As you can see, I dressed her in her finest pink dress. Aunt Kristi and I enjoyed the beautiful sunset and many yummy appetizers as Helena enjoyed basking in the glow of the attention of daddy's work friends. She even had her little palm read by a palm reader at the restaurant! Again, only in in California! Coming soon......Helena's first date with her new "friend" Finnegan Ortiz.....

We took Helena for an outing to Venice Beach today to enjoy the culture (ie. freak show!) While there she witnessed many palm readers and "spiritual healers" as well as a Hari Krishna parade along the avenue. Only in LA! She seemed mostly unimpressed by it all since she slept through the majority of the adventure. However, the cool sea air lulled her into one of the best naps of her life. She's still upstairs sleeping!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful visit with Aunt Paige and Cousin Nick. They were both so helpful and Nick did just about everything for Helena, from feeding her a bottle, to pushing her in the stroller to helping with her bath. She loved meeting her aunt and cousin! Here are some recent pics from that visit along with pics of Helena as she approaches the 2 month mark. I can't believe it...she'll being going off to school before we know it!
