Here's a video of some interaction between dog and baby which has been rather friendly thus far. However, Max is getting quite the workout from running from Helena all the time. Also captured on this video is Helena's famous "no, no, no, no" finger shake. We find it very amusing..

To beat the 112 degree heat in the Valley, we headed to Malibu for brunch at daddy's old restaurant, Sunsets in Malibu. It was great fun seeing all of daddy's old work friends, eating brunch by the ocean, and lounging under the beach umbrella afterwards. The little lady really enjoyed herself!

Opening presents.....

Happy Birthday! Helena turned 1 year old this week and we continued the festivities with Aunt Kristi on Saturday. Helena enjoyed more cupcakes and opening all her presents.
