We made a family trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach this past weekend and it was definitely one of our favorite LA attractions. It is absolutely beautiful and the pictures can't do it justice. Helena loved looking at all the "feesh", as she calls them, and watching daddy touch the giant stingrays in the pools open to the public. This definitely gave mom some anxious moments, but it was lots of fun!

Helena's new favorite pastime is coloring with her markers and making little works of art. Thank goodness for washable markers because she was very upset that she could not color on the chair! Here are a few shots of a recent session of coloring.

Helena enjoyed a playdate with her boyfriend, Finnegan Ortiz, this past weekend. The two thoroughly enjoyed climbing the stairs together and stealing toys from one another. Mom and Dad enjoyed brunch and mimosas with friends, Kelly and Freddy.

You call this art? Helena was unimpressed with the street performer we saw today at the Santa Monica pier. She was definitely more interested in feeding Cheerios to the pigeons. We really enjoyed how she slammed her stroller cover down at the end of the performance. She's such a tough critic!
